Stokvis Tapes Benelux B.V. is affiliated with the ‘AD Circular program’ for the recycling of used paper glassine and filmic tape liners. During converting of self-adhesive tapes there is unfortunately always some waste of liners. Because of the siliconization of the materials these couldn’t be disposed of with regular cardboard, paper and PET waste for recycling. Fortunately, with this program it is possible to recycle liners, regardless of color, thickness or origin.
Glassine is re-pulped and cleaned from impurities (silicone/inks) and transformed into recycled fibers which are then used for several new applications and of course new glassine liners. PET liner will be re-granulated so PET producers can use those granulates in new applications such as carpets.
We are happy that by recycling our liners we contribute to the circular economy and reduce our CO2-footprint for a more sustainable world!
